The filter element size is 4-3/8" outside diameter 2-3/8" Tall and 3" inside diameter. The housing is 2-1/2" tall and 6" diameter with a 3/4" Male NPT pipe thread. It does what it claimed to do. It did calm the compressor sound enough for me to notice. Can nit be sure if the filter breaths better then the original filter but the decrease noise made the filter worth it.
