The WEG 00518OS1CCD184T is a 5 HP air compressor duty electric motor built to handle the high starting load and torque that compressors demand. It runs on 208-230 volts, single phase, 60 Hz, at 1750 RPM in a 184T frame with a 1-1/8" diameter x 2-3/4" long shaft, and rotates in either direction (CW or CCW).
Using this as a replacement motor? This is a 1750 RPM (4-pole) motor. If you are replacing a higher-RPM motor such as a 3450 RPM unit, you can still use it — you will just need a larger pulley to make up the airflow (CFM) on your compressor.
