WEG PESWS-B32V24AX-RM68 5 HP Single Phase Magnetic Starter with On/Off Buttons
NEMA 4X Enclosure

Brand new WEG PESWS-B32V24AX-RM68 5 horsepower, single phase, 208-240 volt magnetic starter with a NEMA 4X enclosure. This is a great quality starter with a built-in overload that is adjustable from 22-32 amps and is equipped with On/Off buttons, making this a great option for power washers and other equipment that will be in wet environments.

The PESW magnetic starters are ideal to protect motors and ensure reliable operation year after year. Assembled together in a NEMA 4x enclosure with On/Off buttons on the cover for quick and easy operation.

The NEMA 4X enclosure is constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water. Will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

Please note: this starter is not designed to be used with an air compressor as the signal from the pressure switch will conflict with the on/off buttons.

Contactor & Control

Contactor type The magnetic contactor that switches power to the motor. WEG CWB32
Contactor rating 32 A
Coil / control voltage The voltage that energizes the contactor coil — supplied by the pressure switch or control circuit. 208-240 VAC
Control scheme The pilot devices wired in: e.g. Reset only, Start/Stop + Reset, or Hand-Off-Auto (HOA). On/Off buttons
Auxiliary contacts Spare isolated contacts for interlocks, run indication, or a low-oil switch. 1 NO + 1 NC, electrically isolated

Overload Protection

Overload relay type Bimetallic relays trip on a heater element sized to the motor current; ambient-compensated means the trip point is stable across temperature. Bimetallic, ambient-compensated
Trip class How long the relay tolerates locked-rotor current before tripping. Class 10 = within 10 s, standard for compressors. Class 10
Phase-loss protection Trips the motor off if one supply phase is lost, preventing single-phasing damage. Yes

Enclosure & Physical

Enclosure material Non-metallic (thermoplastic)
Dimensions (H × W × D) Approximate enclosure size from the manufacturer catalog. 8.875″ H × 4.5″ W × 4.375″ D
Weight 2.3 lb

Ratings & Compliance

Agency approvals UL508A listed, cULus certified
