Brand new Solberg SLCR100 intake filter silencer. This is a great accessory to add on to your air compressor! This silencer is installed between your compressor head and your intake filter. If you have a loud compressor in your shop or garage, this silencer has a fiber filter insert and galvanized steel mesh holding it in place and it can help reduce the dB of your compressor and give you a more quite operating volume.
This has 1" female NPT threads on each end. (1" NPT Female threads measure about 1-1/4" Inside Diameter.

Pleasantly surprised by this! On my old pump there wasn't a huge decibel difference but it did take the higher tone out and made a noticeable difference to the ear. I swapped my rebuilt speedaire pump on and with the new pump combined with this muffler at 10ft away we are seeing an average of 53db! So glad I just bought this over some of the homemade setups I've seen! Running a powdercoat shop i listen to this compressor allot!
