The Baldor L1430T is a 5-horsepower, single-phase AC electric motor rated for 1725 RPM, running on 230V at 60Hz, and is designed for use with air compressors, fans, blowers, pumps, and other belt-driven systems where moisture and dust exposure is limited. It features a 184T mounting frame, an open drip-proof tandem fan enclosure, providing added cooling over standard open enclosure motors, and is rated for continuous duty.

The L1430T is a more efficient version of the L1410T (spec. 36M925Q041G1) and L8430T Baldor motors, with a lower running amperage (20.6A @ 230V) compared to the L1410T (23A @ 230V), making it an exact and higher quality replacement for either. The L1430T is also a common replacement for the Leeson 131537/C184K17DB31A.
