This listing is for a 5 horsepower, single-phase magnetic starter rated for 220–240 volts. Housed in a durable steel enclosure, this high-quality starter features a built-in overload relay adjustable from 22 to 34 amps to help protect your motor from overcurrent damage.

The unit includes a manual reset button, which can be switched to auto reset mode if needed. The enclosure is equipped with four 3/4" punch-out holes for wiring access and includes three rubber grommets to protect wires during installation. Wiring instructions are included for reference.

If you're running a 5 HP air compressor and experiencing burned-out pressure switch contacts, this magnetic starter is the solution. It offloads the electrical load from the pressure switch and improves reliability.

When used with an air compressor, a pressure switch (sold separately) is required to control the starter. The pressure switch will turn the starter on and off based on the tank pressure settings.
