This listing is for a brand new universal 1/2" npt Smart Start air intake filter for air compressors this is also a direct replacement for Rigid 20448, ST085700AV Campbell Hausfeld, Husky, and Sears compressors. This filter will fit any compressor that has 1/2" female npt threads for the air filter to screw into as long as there is no room or clearance issues this filter measures 3" tall with threads and 2.5" in diameter. This filter was designed to eliminate compressor starting problems by allowing the compressor to reach full rpm before allowing air in, and putting the compressor under a load to eliminate motor problems and tripped circuit's, Which really helps in cold weather also. The 1/2" threads on this filter measure about 3/4" in diameter. If your compressor has a smaller thread a reducer found at a local hardware store will work to adapt it. The manufacture model number for this filter is AIC12  the replacement element is a AIC12 RK.
