The Compressor Source CS3080 is a 5 HP single-stage, three-cylinder cast-iron air compressor pump rated at 17 CFM at 90 PSI, with a 125 PSI maximum pressure. It's a direct replacement pump for 60–80 gallon compressors running a 5 HP, 220V single-phase motor drawing at least 20 amps. A 7.5 HP motor will also run it, with extra headroom.

Will it fit your compressor?

Compare three things with your current pump: the mounting bolt pattern (6.5" x 9.75" on the CS3080), the 14.5" two-groove A-section flywheel and the 3/4" flare discharge. Not sure? Contact us with your old pump's details and we'll confirm the fit before you buy.

Setting it up

Run the CS3080 between 700 and 1000 RPM. On a 1750 RPM motor that takes a pulley of roughly 5-3/4" to 8-1/4" O.D.; on a 3450 RPM motor, roughly 3" to 4-1/4". Our Pulley Size & RPM Ratio Calculator works out the exact size for your motor.

The pump ships with its flywheel, three intake air filters and an oil sight glass. Oil is not included. Before the first start-up, fill it with 30W ISO 100 non-detergent compressor oil to the top of the red dot on the sight glass. A gallon of our MAG1 ISO-100 compressor oil covers the first fill and several changes. For routine service, the CS3080 Maintenance Kit bundles oil with three replacement filter elements.
