PURCHASED A PUMA PK-65 PUMP. AFTER VIEWING THE PUMA WEBSITE AND THE CS WEBSITE IT WAS DETERMINED THERE WAS A MAX RPM DISCREPANCY. I HAD ALREADY ORDERED A 3.5 INCH PULLEY, BUT IT WAS DETERMINED AFTER DISCUSSION, I NEEDED A 4 INCH. COMPRESSOR SOURCE ACKNOWLEDGED THE ERROR AND I WAS ABLE TO SEND THE WRONG ADVISED PULLEY BACK FREE OF CHARGE AND GET THE CORRECT ONE. SHIPPING WAS VERY VERY FAST AND APPRECIATIVE. THESE FOLKS ARE GREAT, BUT,I CANT SAY THE SAME FOR THE PUMP. THE WEBSITE SAYS 14-22 SCFM BUT I ONLY GOT 13.8 AT 90PSI USING THE WEBSITE CALCULATOR. I WAS HOPING FOR A BIT MORE, BUT I WILL DEAL WITH IT. I WISH I HAD WENT A DIFFERENT ROUTE ON THAT. BUT, WITH THAT BEING SAID, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SECOND TO NONE AND I WOULD GLADLY BUY FROM THESE FOLKS AGAIN.
Quincy Hydraulic Unloader Assembly Replacement Part 110827-001 110827001
Brand new Quincy hydraulic unloader assembly replacement, part number: 110827-001. This hydraulic unloader is used on Quincy compressors. This valve senses when your oil pressure reaches above 14 PSI. When this happens it cuts off the flow of air that is going to the unloaders which allows the pump to build pressure. When the compressor reaches max pressure and shuts off, the oil pressure drops below 14 PSI. This allows air to pass through to the unloader on the compressor relieving the air off the head for a load free start up.
How to tell if this part needs to be replaced:
If the compressor seems to be partially unloading while pumping you can remove the copper air line going to this valve. If the pump produces more air while the line between the hydraulic unloader and the head unloader is unhooked, the hydraulic unloader needs to be replaced.
