Puma 3 Cylinder 1 Single Stage Cast Iron Air Compressor Pump 22 SCFM No Unloader

Puma, cast iron, 3-cylinder, single stage, 140 PSI max pressure, air compressor pump. This air compressor pump features a complete cast iron body, cylinders, as well as cast iron heads, which ensures a long life even in the hardest working conditions. This is an oil-lubricated pump with the heads in a 'W' shape, which allows the cylinders to stay cooler than traditional-style air pumps. If you need a high-quality, long-lasting, dependable pump, this is a great option. The compressor is equipped with floating, steel reed valves which are designed for longevity and performance. Depending on the RPM that you will be spinning this pump, which can be anywhere between 650-1000 RPM, it will put out between 14 and 22 SCFM. A 10.5" flywheel comes installed on the pump and requires two 'A Section' belts (not included). This pump can be used with only electric motors that are at least 5 hp. This is a high-quality pump that can give you years of reliable performance in a large variety of applications.

I have had to make changes in my compressor system to accommodate the new pump, so I haven't run it yet. The pump arrived as stated. It was very well protected as packaged. It is in place now but pending some work before I will use it.

I run it with a 25 amp 5hp motor on a 80 gallon tank. Get you a 4 inch pulley to go on it. Your going to get about 18cfm delivered using the calculator. It will run a hf blast cabinet for a bit before it kicks on (105-135 kickout).I run that regulator at 60psi. I also run a 110lb pot blaster with a 1/8 tip. It runs constantly at kick on, unless i let it rest, but it holds working pressure at 80- 90psi. I don't use these constantly, but they are the biggest air hogs i have. Id give this pump 5 stars if the cfm went a bit higher, but I will say this is probably the most you will get on a 5hp pump. I have had this pump about 6 months thus far.
