Tsunami 1/2" Air Moisture Filter Water Separator with Float Drain 21999-0131
Tsunami 1/2" NPT Air Moisture Filter Water Separator with Float Drain 21999-0131
The Tsunami 50 Series water separator removes bulk water — up to one quart per minute — plus oil and particulate down to 10 micron from compressed air lines flowing up to 50 CFM. Air accelerates down an inner tube, reverses 180°, then passes through orifice baffles and a stainless steel mesh element, so velocity, gravity, and centrifugal force all work together to drop liquid out of the air stream. The automatic float drain ejects collected liquid on its own — there is no petcock to remember.
Built like an industrial tool, not a throwaway:
- Filter head machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum, anodized inside and out against corrosion
- Oversized tube length handles the surges that overwhelm ordinary filters
- 250 PSI maximum pressure, 175°F maximum temperature
- Automatic float drain standard; removable bottom cap for easy service
- Rebuildable — service kit 21999-0227 restores like-new performance without replacing the housing
- Made in Monticello, Minnesota by ISO 9001:2015-certified Suburban Manufacturing
Install at air-tool drops and ahead of air dryers as a pre-filter — filtration works best far from the compressor, close to the point of use. Pair with the 50 Series oil coalescing filter for paint, plasma cutting, and other oil-sensitive work.
